The DTAI Sports Analytics Lab has developed a model to forecast the results of the 2016 UEFA European Championship (Euro 2016), covering both the group stage and the playoffs.

Forecasts will be updated daily based on match outcomes and publish on the “Who might win it?” website and on Facebook. Our pre-tournament forecast was covered in Het Laatste Nieuws, one of the most read Flemish newspapers (original version, requires login).

The development team was coordinated by Jan Van Haaren and included Anton Dries, Wannes Meert, Toon Van Craenendonck, Vincent Vercruyssen, and myself.
